About The Position
Okie Staffing is currently hiring an Industrial Cleaner & Material Handler to support a busy manufacturing facility in Tulsa. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting operations through material handling and equipment use. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, safety, and keeping operations running efficiently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, industrial cleaning, or maintenance preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to operate forklifts and industrial cleaning equipment
- Ability to read safety labels and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Comfortable working at heights when needed
Nice To Haves
- Basic mechanical or handyman skills a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) throughout the facility
- Perform industrial cleaning duties including: Floor scrubbing Pressure washing Equipment cleaning General facility sanitation
- Keep production areas, warehouse spaces, and common areas clean and organized
- Assist with visual organization such as labeling, floor markings, and workspace setup
- Ensure facility and surrounding grounds maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Operate forklifts to move materials, supplies, and waste throughout the facility
- Use additional equipment such as scissor lifts, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers
- Assist with staging materials and maintaining production flow
- Assist with minor maintenance and general facility upkeep
- Perform routine inspections and report safety concerns
- Support daily operations as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines
- Participate in safety meetings and training
- Maintain compliance with company safety and quality standards
