About The Position

Tarpon Specialty Services is hiring experienced Carpenters (Concrete Framework) for a large-scale oil & gas construction project in the Ingleside and Corpus Christi, Texas area. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-profile industrial project with a team that values skilled tradespeople.

Requirements

2+ years of carpentry experience in industrial, commercial, or oil & gas construction
Hands-on experience with concrete formwork and rebar tying
Ability to read and work from blueprints and project drawings
Reliable transportation to project site
Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments in all weather conditions
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Building and setting wooden concrete forms for industrial foundations and structures
Tying rebar and placing reinforcing steel per project specifications
Pouring, finishing, and stripping concrete
Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
Working safely in an active industrial/construction environment
Collaborating with ironworkers, concrete finishers, and general foremen
