The Industrial Automation System Architect position is a part of Innovation & Technology, the CTO office of the Industrial Automation business unit. Under the leadership of senior system architects, help define future industrial automation system architecture that incorporate advanced wireless and wired communication technologies and software-defined networking (SDN) solutions. Conduct technical assessment, experimentation, and proof-of-concept developments for emerging technologies and related applications relevant for the system architecture. Collaborate with other system architects, program managers, and business leaders to develop system-level strategy for industrial automation systems. Support the management of the technology pipeline for the evolution of industrial system platforms including as IoT, IIoT, edge control/compute and associated communication technologies. Participate in relevant internal and external standardization activities. Drive innovation with the objective to solve customers' pain points utilizing both mature and evolving platforms.
