About The Position

Furnace Operator – Heat Treatment employees are expected to meet the abilities of maintain furnace control, inspection of parts before and after the heat treat process, examination of parts, reading computer controls, examination of processed parts. Successful candidates will also possess the following skills, behaviors, and aptitude: The work environment for this position is noisy, oily, fast paced and physically demanding. It involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks with exposure to oily conditions and dust, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and appropriate footwear. Requirements

Previous experience with Heat Treat
Self-motivated; able to work without constant supervision
Good work ethics: dependable, reliable
Able to work in a team environment; gets along with others
Good math and computer skills
Mechanically inclined; good with hand tools
Good communication skills
