About The Position

Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for the set-up and operation of induction brazing equipment to customer specifications including assembly of details at various levels prior to brazing. Brazers are responsible for performing various calibration, measuring, and inspection functions. Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Takes a professional and tactful approach when interacting with co-workers, customers, and clients
• Possess and develop skills required for the position; including but not limited to basic math, understanding and interpretation of blueprints, use of precision measurement tools.

• Ability to accurately interpret and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently as well as a team

• Attend all meetings and trainings as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Continuously completes successful braze and debraze procedures in manufacturing cell
• Makes and cuts braze rings.
• Follows all applicable work instructions and documentation.
• Assembles using resistance tack welders.
• Fabricates and insulates braze coils and glass.
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
