This role is responsible for increasing beverage sales, training and managing team members, and overseeing inventory, labor, and profit-and-loss performance across venues representing approximately 20% of the property’s total beverage revenue. The Indoor Beverage GM will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain high service and quality standards, and manage day-to-day operations for our lobby bar Baobab Social, outdoor entertainment venue Amatuli, Redd’s Piano Bar, and Shari’s Daiquiri. This position reports to the Resort’s Beverage Director and will occasionally partner with the Corporate Beverage Director and Property Food and Beverage Director. It does not include beverage menu development, but focuses on operational excellence, team leadership, and financial results.    As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You will ensure guest satisfaction, efficient operations, and revenue generation across beverage outlets.    This position requires flexible availability, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • 2 years of operational high-volume bartending/beverage experience & 2–5 years of supervisory or management experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or bar operations.  
  • Prior experience in high-volume, guest-facing environments (resorts, theme parks, hotels, or water parks) 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Responsible Alcohol Management certification in accordance with company and state requirements 
  • Solid understanding of inventory control, profit & loss management, and POS systems. 
  • Ability to multitask and perform in fast-paced and sometimes outdoor environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing both alcohol service and VIP/premium services is highly valued.
  • Cicerone or sommelier certification is helpful but not required. 
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality, friendly service to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve any service issues.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff; provide coaching and maintain strong team morale.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, track sales, and drive revenue with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Enforce health, alcohol, and safety regulations; maintain cleanliness, company SOP’s and equipment standards.
  • Maintain and enforce company standards by holding all associates accountable to the established progressive disciplinary policy, ensuring consistent, fair, and documented performance management across the team.
