About The Position
The Individualized Placement & Support Specialist at Catholic Charities of Broome County is responsible for utilizing the Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) model to assist individuals with serious mental illness in finding and maintaining competitive employment. This role involves assessing consumer preferences, providing job coaching, and networking with local employers to create job placement opportunities. The specialist will work closely with consumers in various community settings and collaborate with the ACT team to ensure effective support and documentation of services provided.
