About The Position

Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking an Individual Training Branch Trainer to support a program at Fort Johnson, Louisiana. For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions. The role involves utilizing Simulations/MCIS Trainers responsible for the set-up, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of U.S. military command and control related clients and software tools. The trainer will provide instruction and over-the-shoulder training to training audiences on simulations, games, and MCIS systems used in training events, conduct testing, research and development of old and new systems and tools, and create or revise training courses based on analysis and new systems.

Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
  • At least two years of teaching experience.
  • Completed a course of study leading to a minimum of experience with Army Mission Command Systems and/or software systems.
  • Subject matter expert who has operated the system under instruction.
  • Experience of not less than four (4) years' service in or support to the Army or other national defense service.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CPCE, MMC-S, WINTAC, ATAC, JBC-P, DXTRS, BSWS (WARSIM), DCGS-A.
  • Familiarity with new and emerging army MCiS equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, configure, operate, and troubleshoot U.S. military command and control related clients and software tools.
  • Support the design, planning, preparation, execution, and recovery of systems to support exercise control.
  • Provide instruction and over-the-shoulder training to training audiences on simulations, games, and MCIS systems.
  • Conduct testing, research, and development of old and new systems and tools.
  • Build and validate training courses of instruction with the training team.
  • Remain current with doctrine and provide updates to the training team.
  • Support the Collective branch when needed.
  • Create new courses or revise existing courses based on training analysis and new systems/software.
