In this role you will....Assist with daily living activities in individual's home or residential facility. Observes and monitors client's behavior and charts observations and incidents. Provides training in basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills. May assist with meal preparation, ADLs, and provide transportation. Responsibilities: Instructs and advises individuals/residents regarding daily living skills in one-on-one or group instructive situations.Observes, documents and monitors client behavior.Counsels’ individuals on items like behavioral problems, basic decision-making, and the resolution of minor issues.Provides personal client care to individuals in the home daily. Performs housekeeping duties such as washing clothes/dishes, dusting, running errands, wiping baseboards, sweeping/ mopping and more.Plans, buys food, and prepares meals (including special diets) for individuals.Provides transportation for individuals/residents to appointments/activities.Monitors self-administration of client medications.May be asked to move to another site at any time during employment.
