About The Position

Join us in making a significant impact in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities by providing support for independent living. We are looking for individuals who can dedicate a few hours per week to assist those in need, particularly on weekday afternoons, Saturdays, or Sundays. Depending on your experience level, you can earn between $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for additional hours and potential for regular part-time or full-time positions with Pathlight Group. We have assignments available across all four counties of Western Massachusetts, and we encourage you to apply if you see a fit for your schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Two professional references.
• Over 1 year related experience preferred for ISS 1; 2 or more years for ISS 2.
• Acceptable CORI and NBC Fingerprint.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities/autism in expanding their skills and experiences related to community living.
• Develop a personal relationship with the individual to understand their interests, strengths, and learning needs.
• Serve as a resource that complements the efforts of the Assigned Specialist.
• Work under the supervision of the Specialist and maintain a reliable schedule.
