About The Position

The individual will assist the Morris Wetland Management District and Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge with visitor services and outreach activities. Main duties include helping with outreach activities, connecting with local communities, and providing quality educational opportunities for summer groups. The individual will also focus on maintaining high public uses areas and infrastructure through mowing, weed trimming, painting, and updating information panels.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of college in an environmental degree program or 3 years of experience in environmental education.
  • All participants must be between the ages of 16 and 30, inclusive, or veterans age 35 or younger.
  • Participants must also be a citizen or national of the United States or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States.
  • Personal Vehicle Required
