Summary The Director, Indirect Sourcing – Risk & Finance is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for all risk management and finance-related categories, with the expertise and ability to support other indirect spend areas as required. This role ensures cost optimization, supplier innovation, and favorable business terms that deliver measurable value to the organization. This hybrid position can be based in our Jacksonville, FL office and requires three days per week on-site.
Requirements
- Expertise in risk and finance procurement, with the ability to manage other indirect categories as needed
- Deep strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and competitive bidding expertise
- Procurement leadership and vendor management expertise
- Expert negotiation and commercial contract management skills
- Financial acumen including working capital optimization
- Supplier relationship management and performance management
- Trusted advisor to business stakeholders
- Cross-functional collaboration and engagement expertise
- Strategic thinker and ability to drive innovation
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with at least 5 years in risk, finance, or indirect category leadership
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, including working capital strategies
- Experience managing risk and finance categories, with the ability to support other indirect categories

- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent)
- Professional certifications: CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of use of AI
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for risk management (insurance, compliance, audit, fraud prevention, etc.) and finance (banking, treasury, financial services, consulting, etc.)
- Support sourcing for other indirect categories (e.g., IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities, Travel, Professional Services) as required by business needs
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions
- Negotiate contracts inclusive of favorable business terms such as working capital optimization, performance-based incentives, and risk-sharing mechanisms
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with business stakeholders
- Manage strategic relationships with risk and finance service providers, as well as suppliers in other indirect categories as needed
- Work in concert with Vendor Management and Stakeholder community to implement supplier performance management
- Partner with internal organizations (Finance, Operations, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Compliance) to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support governance frameworks
