About The Position

As the Indirect Sales Representative II at either our Baytree Headquarters, you will be responsible for originating profitable, policy‑compliant auto loans through relationships with both prospective and existing auto dealerships. This role supports Credit Union growth by generating new memberships, meeting the needs of current members, and achieving established sales, service, and profitability objectives. The Indirect Sales Representative II builds, maintains, and services dealer partnerships in a manner that safeguards the Credit Union from risk while maximizing the value and effectiveness of our products and services for each dealer.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years prior experience required in any combination of experience including financial services consumer or indirect lending sales, dealership representative with auto finance company, sales or finance manager at auto dealership.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required plus additional course work gained through attendance at vocational, technical or business school or equivalent experience. Associates/Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.  Must provide own transportation and carry valid insurance on the vehicle.
  • The selected candidate will be assigned to Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole and Polk counties.

Responsibilities

  • Makes regular and effective business development calls to existing and prospective auto dealers for the purpose of gaining new business while providing a high level of quality service and sales delivery. Meets and/or exceed required call plan and loan goals for assigned territory (Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole and Polk counties).
  • Provides dealers with thorough and complete education and training on SCCU processes to ensure efficient and timely loan decisioning and closing. Works with dealers to resolve process issues. Monitors current indirect business relationships to ensure that existing practices meet established SCCU standards
  • Researches, evaluates and monitors competitors programs. Reviews market share for the assigned territory in order to identify market trends and develop new products or programs. Recommends changes to existing programs to ensure that current programs meet market/dealer needs, remain competitive and limit risk.
  • Collaborates with Indirect processing and underwriting staff to ensure smooth and seamless processing of indirect loan requests. Makes recommendations for process changes as appropriate.
  • Maintains an effective communication flow between dealers and SCCU in order to create and maintain dealer goodwill, increase business and resolve conflicts. Encourages feedback on loan package and funding requirements.
  • Delivers effective sales presentations to targeted groups and/or potential or existing dealers, using visual sales tools and handout materials.
