Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Exposure to a global supply base.
  • Experience with SAP ERP (indirect purchasing).
  • Proven track record of being a strong problem solver, an effective communicator, managing multiple tasks, and a demonstrated leader.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of category plans and global sourcing strategies, leveraging industry trends and spend analytics.
  • Align procurement goals with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Ensure cost-effective buying channels & strategies are in place for assigned spend categories.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on savings, efficiencies, and supplier performance.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial metrics for assigned categories.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans in conjunction with an integrated supply base.
  • Ensure compliance with plant safety, quality, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Lead sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ), including bid evaluation, supplier selection, and award recommendations.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and statements of work (SOW) in collaboration with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Provide daily oversight and leadership to on-site MRO integrator teams; escalation point for critical issues.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBR) with strategic suppliers to assess performance, address issues, and align future goals & initiatives.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to proactively identify needs, resolve issues, and improve service levels.
  • Partner with the plant maintenance and reliability team to forecast MRO needs and ensure timely procurement of critical spare parts.
  • Indirect procurement process ownership and implementation of best practices.
  • Leverage digital tools, procurement systems, and innovative inventory management techniques (e.g. SAP, Ariba).
