In addition, Barnes Aerospace manufactures critical engine components with leading precision machining, fabrication, and assembly capabilities, earning its reputation as a trusted supply chain partner to major OEMs. Reporting to the VP of Global Supply Chain Management, the Indirect Commodity Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of indirect procurement, sourcing, and supplier performance across goods and services supporting manufacturing operations. This role leads strategic sourcing initiatives, cost reduction programs, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management while partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply, quality, delivery, and cost performance. This position serves as the primary procurement partner for Engineering and other internal teams during supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation.
