Working with the Public Defender department to determine conflicts
Assigning conflict attorneys
Tracking Public Defender conflicts and maintains conflict report
Scheduling first appearance rotation among staff
Creating and maintaining office calendar
Serving as back up to director to review invoices and process for payment
Reviewing and approving invoices
Working with director to create and track yearly reports
Creating and submitting office supply orders
Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experiential requirements including three years of office experience and/or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office.
Valid Georgia Driver's License
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Must be detail oriented, able to work in a fast paced environment, be able to work weekends and holidays, conduct video conference interviews, be proficient in outlook, word, and excel
Regular and predictable attendance is required
Bi-lingual is a plus for this position, but not a requirement.
