About The Position

We are looking for a Regional Manager who can manage, and help Ciorba develop, our Indiana operations in Northern Indiana and in our new Indianapolis office. The selected candidate will manage and supervise our engineering services on our current INDOT and Indiana Toll Road projects as well as with Local Public Agencies, and private clients throughout Indiana. With the support of our Management Team and Business Development staff, the Manager will also continue to develop new clients and prepare proposals for potential new projects. The selected candidate will be the primary client contact for our current and potential clients in Indiana. Besides technical abilities and familiarity with INDOT standards and selection process, the individual chosen for this position must have good personal skills, strong leadership qualities, good written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work well with a variety of clients on multi-disciplinary projects of various sizes, and complexity, including Design Build project. The annual salary range for this position is $130,000 - $185,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree a plus.
  • Indiana Professional Engineer license.
  • 15 or more years of experience working on INDOT, and Indiana LPAs transportation projects.
  • Proven ability to supervise multiple projects, maintaining budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Knowledge of various clients’ selection processes.
  • Strong communication and client-service skills, experience maintaining professional relationships with agency staff and local officials.

  • Experience with the City of Indianapolis is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Ciorba project procurement including preparation and coordination of scope, budgets, and schedules for projects throughout the State.
  • Work with Project Managers to monitor progress of multiple projects, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Work in coordination with Ciorba various discipline managers and teams
  • Maintain professional relationships and coordinate work with other consultants.
  • Maintain contact with INDOT districts and local agencies; coordinate with utility companies, permitting agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and support proposals, scopes, and fee estimate for new pursuits.
  • Supervise resource planning with technical Group Managers
  • Oversee quality control/quality assurance processes and ensure project documentation, including calculations, meeting minutes, and deliverables, is complete and accurate.
