The State Director (Executive Director) is responsible for the overall administration and growth of services in Indiana. Dungarvin Indiana has approximately 500 employees who provide services to 250 persons with IDD in residential programs. In this role, the State Director is responsible for setting strategic operations and long-term goals for Dungarvin Indiana, aligning with the organization's mission and vision. The role includes overseeing fiscal direction, including budget planning, financial forecasting, and resource allocation, driving the expansion of existing services, and spearheading the development of new lines of business to meet evolving community needs. The State Director will conduct regular evaluations of programs and services to ensure the highest quality of care for individuals with IDD, serve as an innovative leader of the operational team in Indiana, and assure compliance with all applicable rules, standards, and laws. Additionally, the State Director will nurture relationships with business partners, engage with advocacy groups, implement staff development programs, manage risk and crisis situations, and stay informed about industry trends.
