About The Position

We continuously offer new opportunities for financial product sponsors across a wide-spectrum of investable products and for asset managers to measure As a part of our Market Index Services team; you will be responsible for the maintenance of the indexes and improving our systems. You will be a subject matter authority for the Nordics and European markets, financial products, companies, and market participants.

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another relevant field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial markets, securities, and market data
  • Experience detecting and interpreting corporate actions
  • A Track record of working optimally both independently and with a team
  • Well organized and able to complete multiple, time-sensitive projects
  • Excellent Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily administration of Index processes and procedures as governed by the Index methodologies.
  • Assist in resolving Index production issues.
  • Draft, prepare, and/or publish Index data related notices and other subject matters through relevant information channels, under supervision.
  • Assist with basic and complex customer inquiries.
  • Draft detailed documentation for new and existing Index data sources, processes, and standard operating procedures
  • Research new data sources to discover and document their strengths and weaknesses
  • Document and contribute to cross-team projects using Confluence, JIRA and other tools utilizing the Agile way of working
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Uncover product and infrastructure improvement opportunities; assist in preparation of requirements and cases
