Index Management Analyst
About The Position

We continuously offer new opportunities for financial product sponsors across a wide-spectrum of investable products and for asset managers to measure As a part of our Market Index Services team; you will be responsible for the maintenance of the indexes and improving our systems. You will be a subject matter authority for the Nordics and European markets, financial products, companies, and market participants.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience in financial markets, securities, and market data
- Experience detecting and interpreting corporate actions
- A Track record of working optimally both independently and with a team
- Well organized and able to complete multiple, time-sensitive projects
- Excellent Excel skills
Responsibilities
- Perform daily administration of Index processes and procedures as governed by the Index methodologies.
- Assist in resolving Index production issues.
- Draft, prepare, and/or publish Index data related notices and other subject matters through relevant information channels, under supervision.
- Assist with basic and complex customer inquiries.
- Draft detailed documentation for new and existing Index data sources, processes, and standard operating procedures
- Research new data sources to discover and document their strengths and weaknesses
- Document and contribute to cross-team projects using Confluence, JIRA and other tools utilizing the Agile way of working
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners
- Uncover product and infrastructure improvement opportunities; assist in preparation of requirements and cases
