About The Position

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Therapist to support our mission in democratizing access to high-quality mental health care! Cerebral takes a holistic and comprehensive approach when providing care for our patients. Our telemedicine therapists collaborate with prescribers as needed, to support clients during their mental health journey. This therapist role provides direct care for a panel of clients and allows for flexibility when client sessions can be scheduled. You can see clients during traditional business hours, evenings, or on weekends. This position is a 1099 independent contract role. Current state license requirements include: California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Nebraska, New York, Massachusetts, South Dakota, Texas, and Virginia. If licensed in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota, you must also reside in that designated state due to current payor requirements.

Requirements

• Independently Licensed Therapist in the United States for any of the following license structures: Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work.
• Licensed and in good standing in at least one state; must be open to obtaining additional state licenses upon starting.
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent.
• Experience in diagnosing mental health disorders in accordance with the DSM-5 criteria.
• Maintain a strong evidence-based clinical skill set while practicing & implementing outcome-focused care.
• Empathetic and intuitive listening.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Knowledgeable in crisis response.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various systems & tools with ease.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutically sound sessions with clients weekly or bi-weekly for 45 minutes.
• Provide anywhere from 15-40 hours of weekly availability.
• Create your own flexible schedule based on your individual availability.
• Work collaboratively with prescribers who are managing your clients' medication.
