About The Position

This job description is for a Merchant Services Professional working as a 1099 Independent Sales Professional (ISP) for FirstClass Merchant Services. The primary purpose of this role is to assist ISPs in achieving financial success by identifying new business opportunities and closing sales in both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) environments. The position requires a proactive approach to finding and evaluating new clients, which can range from small businesses to larger corporate prospects. The role involves selling merchant products by establishing and nurturing relationships with prospective clients. This includes providing support and guidance to create mutually beneficial scenarios that contribute positively to the financial outcomes of both the clients and the company. Staying updated on industry trends and the company's product offerings is crucial for success in this position. Additionally, the role requires travel to meet potential clients, which is a significant aspect of the job. Meeting sales targets and enhancing customer experience are key performance indicators for this role. Continuous learning about the payment processing industry through routine training is also expected to ensure that the ISP remains knowledgeable and effective in their sales efforts. This opportunity is structured as a contractor position, meaning that the individual will not be a regular employee but will work independently. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with sales, possess a strong understanding of payment processing, and be highly organized. They should also be methodical in their approach to building a book of business and capable of working autonomously. The compensation for this role is commission-based, with earnings ranging from $1,200 to $10,000 per month, depending on performance and sales success.
