About The Position

We are seeking driven, relationship-focused sales professionals to sell branded promotional products to local small business owners. This is a 100% commission-based, independent contractor (1099) opportunity designed for individuals who thrive on autonomy, territory ownership, and performance-based earnings. This role is ideal for self-starters who enjoy face-to-face selling, building long-term client relationships, and growing repeat business.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience, preferably selling to small businesses
  • Comfortable prospecting and generating your own leads
  • Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and accounts simultaneously
  • Self-discipline to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Professional presence and confidence in face-to-face interactions
  • Reliable transportation for local field sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

Responsibilities

  • Prospect local small businesses through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and follow-ups
  • Build and manage relationships with business owners, managers, and decision-makers
  • Present and recommend promotional product solutions (apparel, drinkware, giveaways, event materials) based on customer needs, timing, and budget
  • Conduct on-site meetings and product demonstrations, including presenting samples when appropriate
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, closing, order follow-up, and reorders
  • Develop a pipeline of repeat and referral-based customers within your territory
  • Identify seasonal, event-driven, and marketing-related sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer notes and sales activity tracking
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
