Independent Living Specialist Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models. Job Summary The F/ACT Independent Living Specialists work with SMI clients in their homes or in the field to develop independent living skills. Independent living skills include, but are not limited to, food shopping, learning bus routes, cleaning home, proper hygiene, maintaining relationships with supportive family and developing community-based supports. This position is expected to be in the field at least 80% of the time working with clients assisting them develop skills that will assist in sustaining ongoing recovery. This position will also provide after hour, and on-call supports.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 or more years of clerical and/or administrative experience is preferred.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred.
