As an Enhanced Direct Support Provider, you will provide for the care, fellowship, and protection of persons with developmental disabilities while supporting them to be as independent as possible. The Enhanced Direct Support Provider works in a home with a participant that has received a Health and Safety Waiver (HSW) through the Department of Developmental Services. The HSW is based on the participant’s additional health and safety needs. This could include, but limited to co-occurring diagnoses along with their developmental disability, which may include various mental health diagnoses, behavioral challenges, and/or medical diagnoses.
