About The Position
As an Independent Licensed Therapist at Optum, you will play a crucial role in providing direct clinical services to patients in a supportive and professional environment. This position is part of our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive range of behavioral and mental health treatments. These services include individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs. We are looking for both full-time and part-time therapists to join our team in North Kingstown, RI, with additional opportunities available in Barrington, Lincoln, Providence, and Warwick. In this role, you will be responsible for screening and assessing patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders. You will utilize various treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, to provide effective treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions. Your ability to systematically track treatment responses and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects will be essential in ensuring the best outcomes for your patients.
