About The Position

House Doctors of Scottsdale is seeking skilled, personable, and reliable independent handymen and home repair specialists to join our growing team as a 1099 sub contractor. This is a part-time, flexible position for individual tradespeople only — no companies, LLCs, or crews, please. If you take pride in your work, value flexibility, and enjoy building long-term relationships with homeowners, this is a great fit. We handle the marketing, scheduling, and billing — you focus on craftsmanship, customer experience, and growing repeat business.

Requirements

• Independent contractor (individual only — no companies or crews).
• Must carry general liability insurance ($1M / $2M aggregate).
• Must be able to pass a background check before starting work.
• Reliable vehicle and personal tools.
• Ability to use ServiceTitan on a phone or tablet.
• Signed Subcontractor Agreement and W-9 for 1099 setup.
• All techs are Background Checked before working.
• Applicable trade license(s) where required by law.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused service.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience in handyman, maintenance, or related trades.
• Skilled in carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, installations, etc.
• Tech-savvy and organized — comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling.
• Strong communication and reliability.
• Ability to identify and upsell additional repair or improvement opportunities to help homeowners and increase earnings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
