About The Position

As a 1099 Independent Field Adjuster, you will manage your own workload, inspect property damages, and provide timely, fair, and accurate claims assessments. Requirements

• Hold a valid property adjuster license for your state of operation.
• Have at least 2-3 years of experience handling property claims.
• MUST Be proficient in Symbility estimating software.
• Have strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain general construction knowledge to assess damages accurately.
• Own or have access to necessary equipment (ladder, safety gear, measuring tools, etc.).
• Have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Be physically capable of climbing ladders, entering attics/crawlspaces, and working on roofs.
• Maintain professional liability insurance if required.
• Have strong time management skills to handle multiple claims efficiently.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate, evaluate, and resolve daily property claims following client and company standards.
• Inspect damaged properties, assess the loss, and prepare estimates using Xactimate and Symbility.
• Determine claim-related damage, confirm policy coverage, and make recommendations accordingly.
• Set and manage reserves per carrier guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, repair procedures, and market pricing.
• Submit reports on severe incidents, insured-to-value (ITV) findings, and other necessary documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism in all communications.
• Manage your own schedule, assignments, and client expectations while meeting industry service standards.
