About The Position

The Tax Manager plays a key role within the corporate tax function and works closely with the Senior Director of Tax to support all aspects of the company’s income tax compliance and reporting. This role requires strong experience in income tax provisions (ASC 740) and will oversee a small team of two. Management experience is not required, but deep technical tax expertise is essential.
Candidates must have experience with OneSource for federal income tax return preparation.

Requirements

• Income tax

• Corporate tax compliance
• 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax, with increasing responsibility.
• Strong background in income tax planning, research, return preparation, and ASC 740.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA preferred.
• Experience with OneSource required; Corp tax experience a plus.
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or oversee the preparation of federal and state income tax returns and supporting calculations.
• Support the quarterly ASC 740 and FIN 48 provision process, including preparation and review of related schedules.
• Review and analyze state income and franchise tax returns, estimated tax calculations, and other compliance filings.
• Conduct technical tax research and prepare written analyses and recommendations.
• Assist with tax audits, notices, and tax planning initiatives.
• Oversee Unclaimed Property reporting requirements.
• Manage the filing of U.S. state and Canadian provincial annual reports.
• Participate in various special projects throughout the year as needed.
