Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility for financial assistance programs including Medicaid, SNAP, LIHEAP, Nursing Home Care, and Waivers.
• Interview clients over the phone or in person to gather necessary information.
• Review and interpret policies to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Data enter information into an automated eligibility determination system.
• Perform manual calculations as needed for eligibility determinations.
• Type clear and thorough case comments regarding client circumstances and changes.
• Complete all work within deadlines in accordance with Federal and State policy.
