About The Position

We are seeking a safely oriented mechanically inclined Heavy Equipment Operator for our El Dorado, AR team. You are monitoring and documenting the units on a schedule, utilize loaders to move ash boxes, Hook up tankers, trouble shoot loss of flow for pneumatics and other types of pumps. Meets/exceeds safety, compliance & production goals. Provides training and/or mentorship to other Facility Technicians. Completes and submits all associated paperwork for tracking various tanks and product. Ensures proper inventory warehousing, inventory scanning and utilization of WinWeb/ Comparable inventory enterprise program Operates a forklift, or heavy loader when necessary. Responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating. Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards. Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Able to troubleshoot various pumps
  • 1+ years in plant experience preferred
  • 6 months operating a heavy loader, skid steer, bucket loader, front end loader or similar type equipment
  • Must be safety oriented
  • Team Player who can communicate with various groups simultaneously
  • Must be able to work a rotating shift to include days and nights
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs, sit or stand for long periods, work in all weather conditions and work at heights

  • Flow control knowledge is an asset!
