About The Position

Primary Objective: Provide a safe environment for guests, participants and employees, while contributing to guests’ exceptional experience by diligently, respectfully, and efficiently responding to Code of Conduct, guest behavior, medical or alcohol-related situations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education if approved by management.
  • Completion of Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management (TEAM) training required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Must be available to work baseball and non-baseball events throughout the year, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Enforces all T-Mobile Park Security Department policies and procedures in a proactive and professional manner.
  • De-escalate situations and address concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Resolves concerns, provide information and directions to guests, clients, vendors, staff and visitors in a prompt and courteous way.
  • Elevates questions and concerns to supervisor promptly.
  • Assists with emergencies, including but not limited to injuries, alarms, altercations and evacuations.
  • Serves as initial responder to incidents and concerns collecting information and controlling area as necessary.
  • Ensures that staff and event credentials are worn and visible at all times.
  • Performs access control functions, ensuring only proper credentials are allowed to access restricted areas
  • Identifies and reports hazards and safety concerns.
  • Completed incident reports as required.
  • Stand and/or walk in assigned area to observe guest behavior and provide a supportive presence to assist guests in understanding and complying with the Code of Conduct.
  • Stand, walk at a moderate or fast pace, move up and down stairs, and occasionally run in order to complete job assignments or respond to an incident.
  • Repeatedly scan assigned areas for signs of disruptions, Code of Conduct and alcohol related issues.
  • Interact with guests to assess the situation and respond according to appropriate procedures.
  • Respond to requests for assistance from other employees who have identified possible Code of Conduct or alcohol-related issues.
  • Monitors crowds, ensuring proactive crowd management and line control methods are being utilized.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency medical services to ensure safety.
  • Performs identification checks as necessary.
  • Ensures that all T-Mobile Park alcohol policies are enforced, reported and tracked effectively.
  • Perform crowd management and line control functions to assist with the ingress and egress of guests to and from the ballpark.
  • Promptly and effectively communicate safety and security concerns using two-way radio or other provided communication tools. Must also be able to hear and comprehend two-way radio communication to monitor or address security concerns in assigned area.
  • Complete Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management (TEAM) training and all other mandatory Team Member meetings and training.
  • Performs all other security duties as assigned.
