About The Position
The Information Security department is responsible for setting enterprise security policies and standards that are designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Morningstar information. The security team offers guidance and technical expertise in areas like application security, policies and procedures, disaster recovery and compliance/regulation. We analyze emerging security threats and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to ensure that our information remains secure. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Incident Responder to join our global team. As the Incident Response Lead, you will be responsible for leading our response to cyber security incidents, coordinating efforts across various teams, and ensuring effective communication and resolution of incidents. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and technical skills, capable of making quick and informed decisions in high-pressure situations. This position is based in our Chicago office. We follow a hybrid policy of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work.
