The work: Works with security and IT teams to develop proactive strategies, automation to improve incident response efficiency, and coordination of containment efforts. Develops means to isolate affected systems or networks to contain the threat and implements response strategies. Analyzes incident impact on the organization’s data, systems, and networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a technical field OR 4 years of additional IT experience
  • 8 years in incident management or related IT role
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and incident management best practices
  • Proficient with incident management tools
  • Sec+ certification
  • Experience leading a team of ten or more
  • Any of the following certifications: CEH(P), ECIH, GRID, RCCE Level 1, CBROPS, CCSP, CEH, Cloud+, FITSP-O, GCED, GCIH, GSEC, PenTest+, Security+
  • An active Secret clearance is required
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • One or more of the following certifications: CFR, CySA+, GCFA, GCIA, GICSP, CISSP
