This role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining programs, policies and procedures that support the performance reporting of employee objectives to goals and outcomes defined in the incentive compensation and or bonus programs. Responsibilities include compensation program analysis, creation, maintenance and administration, bonus and incentive processes and programs. In addition, the position is responsible for data analysis and report validation to plan specs. Functions as an internal consultant to analyze, identify and resolve various compensation-related issues/questions.

  • Accountable for the coordination of IC tasks that support IC administration services from implementation to project shut down that include requirements gathering; documenting configuration specs; establishing/maintaining timelines; results processing, report generation, QC and Payroll submission.
  • Manage, approve, and maintain the configuration based on program specs of the Incentive Compensation tool to support admin process from territory sales data to performance payout reports for up to 1,000 Pharma and Biotech field representatives across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Administration Lead that provides analytics and insights within all areas of IC that includes Plan Design, Implementation, Effectiveness and support for Business Reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain IC Admin documentation (data request, transition, etc.).
  • Review and approve Eligibility rules, IC calculations and report distribution in the IC tool that align with the respective plan documentation and established timelines.
  • Experience in generating models, analysis, scorecards, and payroll submission files.
  • Performs quality control of data inputs and tool outputs utilizing SQL, Excel, and visualization tools.
  • Work independently to process information and data to create reports on activities, trends, and projections regarding incentive plan performance, efficiencies, and improvements.
  • Meet with IC Management and team members to establish, monitor and review performance.
  • Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation.
  • Other projects as deemed necessary by Management.
  • Must be advanced in the use of Power BI, Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables and power pivot reports.
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications (Access, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with shifting priorities while providing deliverables in a timely fashion.
  • Must be well-organized with excellent time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to develop/create professionally formatted summary materials (e.g., spreadsheets, tables, charts).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and understand broad-scope issues while simultaneously attending to details.
  • Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and results oriented; take ownership of projects and produces results.
  • Pro-active, goal-oriented and able move quickly to resolution.
  • Proven strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to synthesize information and data from a variety of sources.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment to solve problems, make defensible recommendations.
  • Understand how certain compensation issues may impact other company departments.
  • Master's Degree in a related field desirable.
  • Previous IC reporting experience is preferred.
