About The Position

The role of an Inbound Operations Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture on your team. This position involves leading a team of hourly team members, including skills in interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent. A typical day will most likely include understanding sales goals, executing daily/weekly workload, leading operations, and ensuring product availability for purchase.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Age 18 or older.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding sales goals, plans and executing daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement.
  • Leading and sharing expertise in operations, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Establishing clear goals and expectations and holding team members accountable to expectations.
  • Utilizing workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring areas are guest ready at store open.
  • Assigning daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
  • Working a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs.
  • Assessing all GM backroom, sales floor areas and reviewing reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve any issues identified.
  • Enabling a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is available for purchase.
  • Assisting direct leader in leading and following-up on organizational and operational change.
  • Building a team of GM experts from initial selection through onboarding and learning.
  • Demonstrating inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches.
  • Leading and demonstrating a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors.
  • Supporting merchandise protection strategies across the total store.
  • Addressing all store and offsite emergency and compliance needs.
  • Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive up.
  • Creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests.
  • Engaging with guests when assistance is needed.
