The role of an Inbound Operations Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture on your team. Retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies. No two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include responsibilities such as understanding sales goals, planning daily/weekly workload, leading a team of hourly team members, and ensuring product availability for purchase.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Age 18 or older.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding sales goals and executing daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals.
  • Leading and sharing expertise in operations, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Establishing clear goals and expectations and holding team members accountable.
  • Utilizing workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring areas are guest ready.
  • Assigning daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
  • Assessing all GM backroom and sales floor areas and reviewing reporting to identify gaps.
  • Enabling a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is available for purchase.
  • Leading and following-up on organizational and operational change.
  • Building a team of GM experts from initial selection through onboarding and learning.
  • Demonstrating inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches.
  • Leading a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors.
  • Supporting merchandise protection strategies across the total store.
  • Addressing all store and offsite emergency and compliance needs.
  • Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up.
  • Creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests.
