About The Position

As our Inbound Checker, you will be responsible for verifying and documenting all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a cold storage setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a cold storage environment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Capability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work in cold storage environments as low as -10°F

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Accurately document received goods, including product codes, quantities, and conditions.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the warehouse supervisor.
• Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
• Work closely with the receiving team to ensure efficient unloading and storage of goods.
