Inbound and Outbound Supervisor- 3rd Shift

This 3rd shift supervisor will be from 11PM - 7AM Monday - Friday. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Directly lead Market and Logistic Team employees, including training, directing, conducting performance reviews, educating, and mentoring on performance across product put‑away, parts picking, manufacturing line servicing, and material movement activities Be responsible for daily loading and dock operations to ensure inbound materials are received accurately and on time, and outbound shipments' depart according to schedule, customer requirements, and carrier appointments. Look after day‑to‑day material flow operations to ensure inventory is accurately placed, parts are picked correctly, production lines are serviced on time, and materials move efficiently throughout the plant to support production commitments. Apply daily management tools—such as process center communication boards or dock activity dashboards—to review staffing, supervise critical metrics, communicate priorities, and drive accountability. Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout material handling and flow processes through the deployment of Lean methodology, focusing on improving replenishment routes, reducing handling, and strengthening standard work. Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions in material handling areas, and support nVent’s safety programs. Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis, entering exception hours as needed for Market Team employees. Support implementation of new processes, warehouse systems, or layout changes that improve inbound/outbound accuracy, speed, and efficiency. YOU HAVE: Ideally 3+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse logistics, or manufacturing support, with a preference for experience leading teams responsible for put‑away, picking, or line‑replenishment activities. Ideally 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing or Lean material‑flow principles, with a strong ability to articulate and apply Lean concepts and methodologies to reduce waste and improve material movement processes. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $62,900.00 - $116,900.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
