GM’s Human Interface Design – Vehicle Studio is hiring multiple experienced Designers to help shape the future of in-vehicle digital experiences. As part of our team, you’ll collaborate with design, software, engineering, and product partners to craft intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling solutions that elevate the driving experience. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering system-level software experiences across GM’s product portfolio. We’re hiring across several specialized focus areas: OS Framework Design – system behaviors and foundational interaction models Digital Instrument Clusters – real-time driving data and contextual UI Touchscreen Interfaces – infotainment, media, and control surfaces Head-Up Displays (HUD) – glanceable, safety-critical information Partner Relationship Experiences – third-party integrations and co-branded UI Connected & Cross-Channel Experiences – seamless, consistent experiences across vehicles and mobile touchpoints If you’re passionate about designing digital products that blend creativity, usability, and technical skill—and are driven to create cohesive, brand-aligned experiences across channels—we’d love to hear from you and have you help define the future of mobility.
