Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Develop, source, plan and implement engineering projects among many different platforms including FEDE, WERS, TeamCenter, GPIRS, or VSEM.
  • Perform SCCAF APQP assessments and sign off.
  • Lead team reviews, both internal and external of specs, testing results, designs, compatibility, timing and viability.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Utilize multiple engineering programs, including FEDE, WERS, Vanguard, Microsoft, CAD, and TeamCenter.
  • HIL, SIL and breadboard testing for feature development, trouble shooting and implementation.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • Support To4 sourcing, including ESOW, SOBA, and Engineering Concepts (EC1, EC2, or 3EC).
  • Lead part delivery at agreed pedigree, part sign-off, bridging parts, prototype parts for development and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for program deliverables, including sourcing, designing, testing, validation, release, production and service.
  • Collaborate, lead, and interact with multiple teams to deliver quality products on time, within specifications and on budget.
  • Present and communicate effectively to work with suppliers, management, and other team members to explain results of safety, regulatory, and design changes, as well as validation testing.
  • Assess and decipher mechanical, software and program specifications to design, develop and signoff Instrument Clusters based on program requirements and system architecture.
  • Domestic and International Travel Required up to 5%.
