About The Position

The In-Store Shopper at Whole Foods Market plays a crucial role in supporting the Prime Now grocery delivery service by preparing customer orders for delivery and pickup. This position requires a commitment to quality service and efficiency, as shoppers will navigate the store to gather a variety of products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling online orders. A flexible schedule is essential, particularly during peak times such as weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and speak basic English.
• Comfort using handheld technology (mobile) device to fulfill orders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on product and order accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for at least 6 hours.
• High School diploma or equivalent diploma.

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience in customer service or retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Prime Now customer orders by preparing them for delivery and/or pickup.
• Shop throughout the store for everyday goods including food and household items.
• Fulfill online orders efficiently and accurately with a sense of urgency.
• Maintain organization in the staging area, keeping it free of clutter.
• Work in other departments of the store as required, such as customer service, cashier, and grocery.
