About The Position

American Home Design is hiring part-time and full-time In-Store Promotions Representatives for our Chattanooga area team. We have opportunities to work in the Cleveland, Chattanooga and Dalton, Georgia locations. Whether you are looking for a part-time position or beginning a sales career; we offer both options. Our promoters work inside local Home Depot stores and schedule appointments for a free water test with shoppers. You are setting an appointment with homeowners for a FREE water test. You get paid well to talk to people! We offer paid training and a lucrative base + unlimited bonus opportunity. Our top in-store representatives are making over $30/hour!.

Requirements

Customer-facing background (servers, retail, call center)
Ability to speak to customers with confidence and enthusiasm
Independent, self-motivated, comfortable with rejection
Tech-savvy and able to learn app-based systems
Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day; flexible schedule
Ability to walk the Home Depot store for a 4 hour shift
Reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

Set qualified appointments for in-home water assessments
Engage shoppers in conversation via a well trained script to generate interest in more information
Call the Call Center to confirm and schedule the customer's appointment time on the spot
Use the provided script and technology tools accurately
Maintain energy and professionalism throughout the shift
Meet and exceed hourly appointment expectations
