About The Position

Join ARS, the nation's largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services with 7,000+ professionals and over 45 years of trusted home service. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a pay rate of $20 per hour plus commission. The earning potential averages between $20 to $30 per hour with commission. The schedule will be discussed during the interview, and candidates must be available to work at store locations throughout Northern VA, particularly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between the hours of 9 am and 7 pm.

Requirements

• Willingness to approach and engage retail shoppers.
• Friendly, outgoing personality; sales experience a plus.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 6 hours during shift.
• Reliable transportation to/from assigned store.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Available for weekend retail hours (potential holidays).
• Clean, professional appearance to represent the ARS brand.
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work inside a national retail home improvement store engaging customers in friendly conversations about HVAC upgrades, air quality enhancements, and energy efficiency.
• Schedule free in-home consultations with experienced comfort advisors.
• Sell simple HVAC System Tune-Ups if the customer has a newer system that just needs a little touch from the pros at ARS.
