Requirements
- Valid CDL-A License (Required)
- Valid DOT Medical Card (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of semi-tractor trailer experience
- High School Diploma
- Tractor trailer training & road testing certification
- Ability to push/pull carts up to 800 lbs
- Ability to work in varying Michigan weather conditions
- Strong safety mindset and situational awareness
- Physical & Mental Requirements: Push/pull industrial laundry carts up a 15-degree incline
- Quickly respond to changing road and weather conditions
- Maintain a high level of responsibility and accountability
Responsibilities
- Distribute CLS products between branch locations via semi tractor trailer
- Rotate relay routes with fellow drivers
- Load and unload bins between trailers, plant, and branch locations
- Ensure clean product is delivered accurately and on time
- Remove and return soiled product properly
- Conduct daily tractor/trailer safety inspections
- Report safety or equipment concerns immediately
- Safely operate a multi-geared single/double axle tractor with box trailer
