Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is a must.
  • Experience: Prior experience in ABA or similar settings preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ABA principles and effective communication skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel between schools as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification: RBT certification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Implement ABA Strategies: Utilize ABA methods to address behavioral goals and support student progress.
  • Conduct Therapy: Provide both individual and group therapy sessions using established ABA practices.
  • Work Together: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective behavior management.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and progress reports on student behavior and therapy outcomes.
  • Feedback and Communication: Update parents and work closely with your BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst).
  • Flexibility: Travel between schools within the district as required.
