About The Position

The In Room Dining Server serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. This position is responsible for delivery of food orders including any amenities, special needs or requests to the guest room. The In Room Dining Server will check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest's original order and transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of food service or related work, prior experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of computers.
• Accurate and efficient communication required for guest facing role.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and possess the ability to work autonomously.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of food orders in a timely manner while exuding a friendly and welcoming attitude in all guest interactions.
• Ensure proper food quality and set-up for service while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
• Assist in setting up carts and guest amenities while communicating to staff, guests and kitchen as needed.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Anticipate guest needs and communicate any requests through the proper channels.
