The In Room Dining Server serves meals to guests in their rooms. Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include timely, proper set-up/delivery of all in-room dining orders in accordance with Sonesta performance standards, conducting routine floor checks, maintaining cleanliness of all equipment and work areas, executing assigned side duties, and delivering passionate and engaging service to guests. The server will be expected to recognize individual guests and anticipate their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations. Consistent delivery of the GUEST model is required, which includes greeting everyone warmly with a smile, using eye and ear contact and the guest's name, establishing and anticipating needs, solving and owning all requests/complaints, and thanking everyone. Additionally, building solid relationships with colleagues and treating them with respect and dignity is essential. Other duties may be assigned as needed to assist operations.
