The In Room Dining Coordinator will serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods using the hotel’s point-of-sales system. The IRD Coordinator plays an integral part in ensuring that our hotel guests receive delivery of orders by the IRD Servers in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a luxury hotel/resort setting. Candidates must have excellent communications skills & the ability to work in a high paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures guests receive professional & gracious service at all times adhering to Method Co’s standards.
  • Answers all food and beverage related questions regarding menu offerings & allergens.
  • Uses suggestive selling to up-sell guest orders.
  • Assists in setting up carts & guest amenities.
  • Communicates to staff, guests & kitchen as needed.
  • Ensures timely delivery of all orders.
  • Assists servers with minibar requests & monitors checked in/out guest minibars in ensuring they are well-stocked & meeting the needs of our guests.
  • Facilitates communication between FOH & BOH teams.
  • Must have working knowledge of computers and POS systems.
  • Accurate & efficient communication via telephone and POS systems.
  • Flexible schedule, ability to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, weekends, & holidays.
  • Keep work stations organized and clean.
