About The Position

The position involves communicating service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions, managing total charges for group functions, and preparing and presenting checks to group contacts for payment. Responsibilities include ensuring banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service, displaying proper centerpieces on every table, and inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use. The role also requires checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction, setting tables according to the type of event and service standards, and communicating additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day is essential.
