About The Position

The In-Room Dining Attendant is responsible for managing in-room dining orders and ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves taking orders over the phone, dispatching them to servers, and handling guest inquiries about the menu. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months' experience as an Order Taker in high volume and/or Room Service environments.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.

• Good memory and detail-oriented with keen awareness of surroundings.
• Good organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and take in-room dining and amenity orders.
• Dispatch in-room dining orders and amenity orders to servers.
• Upsell and promote menu items to guests.
• Input orders into the point of sales system in a timely manner.
• Close all open checks to the appropriate account.
• Provide excellent phone and customer service skills.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
